Water jacket passage is cast shallower to

Main caps are stronger than originals. |

Cross bolt diameter increased from 3/8” to
7/16”. |

The iron block bore range is from 4.130”
to 4.440”. Standard bore is .010” under 4.250”,
leaving an average
cylinder wall thickness of .260”. This bore size (std. BBC) allows a
wide range of pistons and rings.

The iron block weighs 230 lbs., which is
30 lbs. over stock, due the the reinforcements listed above. It
is 110 lbs. lighter than the stock Ford 460 c.i. block. |
